Sharpening and Awakening

After decades of a planned deadening of political and economic awareness, a sharp awakening is happening.

Painfully, as we lose more and more children to shootings, the nation is outraged and the student’s friends themselves are taking leadership.

We are finding our strength in order to gain our peace.

Security against the forces within our country that are tearing it down has become our national emergency.

The powerful young voices which are being raised are acute in their significance.

This generation can see the clear dividing lines between what is in their best interests and what is not.

As their power intensifies, young people all over are supporting the actions of the students who are leading the media campaign.

Other aspects of active discontent are taking positive action.

People are beginning to feel empowered as political campaigns move through their primaries toward November elections.

There is an aliveness, a sharpening and an awakening, as long-endured negative practices finally become unendurable.

The Power of Deep Peace

Tapping into my reservoir of deep peace, I listen for how I am to use it today.

I can continue to let it inspire me as I sit quietly and contemplate.

I can listen for new ideas or additions to current ideas.

I can listen so deeply until I am impelled to action.

Since deep peace is always accessible, it has an immediacy for me.

Since it is unlimited in its scope, deep peace keeps me in contact with infinity.

Since I know it is always available, deep peace is a comfort to me.

Whenever I need a solution, when I slow down enough to think and not panic, I feel the deep peace move in quietly and relieve me of my fear.

When I am in unfamiliar surroundings, I listen for my next move, and gently, deep within, I hear it and respond to it.

The most fun is when I sit quietly and listen for ideas, and then the Universe celebrates, and through the deep peace, invites me in.

These are some of the ways deep peace influences and inspires my day.

Taking Time to Build

I am being forced to take the time to build a sure foundation for peace and happiness in my life.

I am not able to rush off and do something with my new peace and happiness.

I have to just sit and enjoy it as I work on my projects.

Since our Western culture is all about what and when and how much you are selling, I keep trying to direct myself in that direction.

Instead, it works out that I just keep creating more fun and beautiful things with no real plan about selling them.

I think they will be uplifting for a lot of people, but it hasn’t happened yet.

And I am learning to believe that is OK.

It is OK to enjoy living.

It is OK not to fear or live in dread about circumstances which are out of my control.

It is OK to be in happy and comforting and respecting places.

It is OK to keep building up experiences and memories of good times, not just escaping from bad times.

As I build a wider foundation and give myself time to enjoy my relatively new peace and happiness, I will have a stronger base for sharing it with others.

Accessing Your Deep Peace

Breathe.  Listen.  Write.  Act.

With every breath, you move deeper into your peace.

Take your time to truly let go of the flow of life around you.

You do not need to participate.

Listen inwardly and feel yourself go deeper.

The calm and quiet are quite noticeable and present.

This is where you begin to access the ideas which are uniquely yours.

Along with the ideas comes the steps toward manifestation, but not all at once, not necessarily right away.

Stay in the deep peace as long as you can.

Return often.

The Feeling of Common Good

I am so grateful for the feeling of common good.

Everyone I now is so grateful for the feeling of common good.

Everyone I don’t even know, all over the planet, is grateful for the feeling of common good.

———————-
It is a good feeling to know that we have the power to create common good.

All the steps to legalize selfishness and self-centeredness do not take away form the simple principle of common good.

What’s good for all affects everyone.

There is room for good for all.

There are ways of achieving good for all which do not depend on actions and institutions which can be taken away by a small group.

We are starting to find these ways.

Instances where local grass roots action helps those in need are happening in more and more places.

Innovative and imaginative solutions are being found and implemented for underserved populations.

Networking among those who desire to serve and uplift are having a positive effect.

As this sense of good for all grows, it will trickle up through the ranks of people who have been empowered by the acts of others.

Good for all, the common good, is a unifying principle and it is gaining acceptance and power through the actions of more and more people.

Common Goals for Common Good

Common goals include everyone.

They are not exclusive, even to those who are selfish and self-centered.

The power of common good is being challenged in so many ways.

The resources which we all hold in common are our desire for good for all of us, inclusively.

This is gaining power even while the agreed upon currency of money and power feeds the greed of a small number of people.

Attention to right causes which uplift and include more and more people are gaining ground.

As individuals, then groups, begin to work in the same direction, many barriers are being overcome.

It is a comfort and a pebble of peace to move in the direction of good for all.

Despite new versions of tyranny and exclusiveness, new solutions have been found throughout history.

Today’s version will find its own solution through the desire for the common good.

Deep Comfort of Common Goals

There is a sense of deep comfort when working on common goals with like-minded people.

After a stimulating discussion and individual consideration of goals and skills, there is a sense of unity and trust as we share ideas.

Partnering and large discussion move the topic in consideration onto a larger scale than individual contemplation.

The feeling that everyone is moving into a new phase is energizing.

Focus and direction help make the process efficient.

As the workshop ideas percolate throughout the night in consciousness, they take radiant shape.

It is easy to outline appropriate substantial steps to take and to take them.

The focus allows an efficient use of resources at hand.

Focus also allows expansion and implementation of ideas already “on deck”.

A sense of ease and confidence pervades the day.
