Retuning

As I listen within, I stay tuned to high ideals.

As everyone I know listens within, they stay tuned to high ideals.

As everyone I don’t even know, all over the planet listens within, they stay tuned to high ideals.

————

By listening within, and acknowledging the ideas which come to me, I feed my soul.

I notice when my soul needs attention, and so by listening within, I retune my high ideals.

Even when I am taking care of necessary details, I am attuned to what my soul needs.

It is good for me to take my deep breaths, become calm, or even withdraw to meditate and write.

Because I feel such a close connection to my Higher Power, I like to take the time to listen within whenever possible.

This lets me check my “tuning”.

If I need to make adjustments so that I can hear and feel clear Guidance, I am able to do so.

Right now, as I write, I am listening for the best way to express this idea.

I like to remain clear, so it is best when I set the standard for myself first thing in the morning.

I define what it is that I want to accomplish.

That includes maintaining close ties to my inner thoughts.

I want to make sure that what I do includes an uplifting attitude.

I continually work to let go of criticism, of myself and of others.

I prefer to add to the atmosphere of happiness and inspiration around me.

By learning how to be non-judgmental, I create room for myself and others to make daily decisions in the best possible light.

I know that I have access to infinite resources.

When I listen within, I am able to connect with them.

I know that my desire to serve connects me to those who can most benefit from what I do.

I experience a deep and unshakable security when I stay tuned to the messages within.

It is always worth the effort of “retuning” when I find myself experiencing confusion or uncertainty in any way.

I find myself moving naturally into smoother situations as I feel calm and uplifted.

I am happy to be able to share my inspiration and peace as I practice my ability to listen within.

Breaking Free of the Cultivated Tyrant Within

Our habits are imprinted on us when we are very young by the people who surround us.

We are able to break free of the negative imprinting once we become aware of it.

Until we are aware, our responses will mirror our first experiences and we will find that we are cultivating responses we did not choose for ourselves.

Once we are aware, we can begin the work to equip ourselves to create new habits.

Our practice begins with awareness and continues as we explore new techniques and strategies until we become skillful with them.

By interrupting the cycle of distressing emotional response, we begin the redirection of our mind and emotions.

By regulating our breathing and moving ourselves into powerful engaging practices, we develop new habitual responses which give us freedom and happiness.

We create room for freedom and happiness by our consistent practice of a new response.

We move ourselves into a different kind of action when we are happy.

We attract more happiness and freedom into our lives.

We give ourselves the space to discover what we love to do, and the ability to commit to doing it.

We attract the resources which will make us happy.

We learn how to make others happy by our new, uplifting attitude.

We feel more inspiration and peace within ourselves.

We create more security and serenity in our lives.

We cultivate more responsible habits.

We can feel the new foundation we are building for ourselves.

We learn that tiny steps are significant.

We learn to take tiny steps consistently.

We discover that our new foundation is built out of entirely different materials than the unreliable ones we were given.

Our new foundation is built out of our belief and confidence in ourselves.

It is built out of our demonstrated ability to interrupt the cycle of distressing emotions and to replace it with uplifting ones.

We begin to see ourselves in a completely new light.

We realize that we are attracting friends and colleagues who support us in our new view of ourselves.

We make healthy connections which involve us in creating an uplifting life for ourselves.

We are no longer governed by unconcious negative responses, but instead we have a life of cultivated inspiration.

Getting Used to Happiness

My experience of happiness keeps growing and growing.

I am finding more places to be happy and more ways of finding and expressing happiness.

By creating opportunities to do what I love, I am sharing my happiness.

It is a privilege to feel the presence of happiness becoming so prevalent in my life.

As I look at the distance I have come from a tense and anxious life to one where I can choose to be calm and creative, I am very grateful.

I am living in an atmosphere of upliftment and inspiration.

I am prepared to make room for space to express the wonderful ideas which come to me.

I am grateful to spend the time it takes to listen and to act.

I am grateful for the friends and support which I receive wherever I go.

In new situations, opportunities for well-being are provided.

I a always surrounded by beauty and resources.

I experience a feeling of harmony everywhere.

My well-being depends on my practice of listening within.

In the quiet of my inward thoughts, I listen for direction and I receive it.

I am given clear guidane to know what to do and to do it.

Step by tiny step, I arrive at my goal.

I am always in the right place at the right time.

I am able to discard any interference or disturbance.

I am able to discern what belongs in my path and what does not belong there.

I take my tiny steps as i build my foundation for service.

I am creating an organization for outreach.

My firm foundation expands as I receive new ideas for sharing inspiration and peace.

It is my privilege to listen and to receive ideas and to act on them as my experience of happiness overflows.

Lifting Invisible Despair

As I find myself cultivating ways to be and to share happiness, it counteracts the early feelings of despair which I grew up with.

It makes sense today to notice the many things which contributued to this feeling.

At the time, because they were invisible, nothing was done to address and correct the situation.

As I continue to grow and realize what the symptoms signify, I am able to lift myself out of despair and into happiness.

I now have a collecton of skills and tehniques to counteract and prevent a feeling of despair.

By committing myself to discovering and doing what I love to do, I continually move myself into a positive and uplifting state.

As my ability to be happy expands, I am given new opportunities to do what I love which feeds my happiness.

Getting started on a cycle of happiness continually lifts me out of the habit of despair, and my default emotion is much higher.

Being sensitive to this feeling in myself makes me sensitive to it in others.

By sharing my strategies and techniques, I can help others lift themselves out of despair when they practice them.

We have a choice of determining how we feel once we learn that we have ways of addressing our emotional state.

Whether we know the cause or not, we can interrupt the despairing ruminations with positive and uplifting action.

We can control our breathing, engage in a mindful activity, journal, draw, cook, converse, exercise.

Our attention to lifting our despair will fill us with uplfiting emotion.

Once we interrupt the cycle, it will never hold as much power or occupy as much space in us as before.

We can practice interrupting the cycle with a much quicker response once we know the techniques and strategies.

Our ability to engage in powerful positive activities rewires us for happiness.

Moving Into Creative Ecstasy

We can discover our source of creativity deep within us through quiet listening.

The fact of our individuality bestows creativity on us.

There are many ways to discover our creativity.

One of the best ways is to notice what we love to do.

We can give ourselves permission to make this activity our priority.

As we give ourselves space to do what we love to do, ideas to support it begin to come to us.

As we put the ideas into practice, we create a flow which forms creative ecstasy.

We discover that we can move into creative ecstasy any time we choose.

Anytime we engage ourselves in what we love to do, we are establishing a connection to our Unlimited Source.

Our desire to provide service, create a product, inspire others with our ideas puts us into the creative flow.

As we begin the activity, we build up momentum which moves us into creative ecstasy.

Later, we can pick up the action at any point along the process and move into creative ecstasy.

We build up our habit of being in creative motion through our practice.

We create an emotional niche of creative ecstasy in ourselves.

We can still deal with practical matters in practical ways.

Then we can move into our space of creative ecstasy.

Our creative ecstasy is an attracting force.

It brings resources and clients to us.

It feeds our soul.

It balances our life with happiness and moves it out of the solely mundane.

To serve through creative ecstasy is a worthy and fulfilling goal.

We can listen and begin our practice.

All of Me is Good

As I spend more time doing what I love, I realize that I am getting good at it.

All those years spent trying to be good at everything yielded little in the way of what I love to do.

it has been a relief to find fulfillment and excellence in what I love to do.

Although we are taught certain things about life, they are not necessarily true or good for us.

Working at what we are not good at may help us improve somewhat, but there are other people who are good at those things.

We can do more for ourselves and society by doing what we love and creating a feeling of upliftment and happiness.

By feeling happy through our work, we contribute a better atmosphere in our communities.

All those things which made us feel inadequate drop away.

Many of the things we were accused of not being good enough drop away.

We move ourselves into a realm of happiness and calm.

We become sure of ourselves and happy to be who we are.

We live a life of fulfilled purpose.

We are complete.

Our life fills up with good feelings.

We are able to make a difference by being good at what we love to do.

We encourage others to be happy and fulfilled by finding out what they love to do.

We build an exchange of services and products which are fillied with happiness.

We create a society of practical and uplifting service.

We are attracted to those who are good at what they do.

We enjoy being around those who are fulfilled and happy.

We can create that life for ourselves.

That is a good feeling.

The Infinite Places of Happiness

As I establish my happiness by doing what I love to do, I find the possibilities expanding.

My work to calm myself through using new strategies is branching out into more applications.

I look forward to new inspiration every day.

I receive the wonderful ideas I need for practical things and for learning new skills.

I am ready to receive ideas which will help me share my uplifting ideas with others.

My guard against the depressing messages circulating in the world is that I am a “light magnet”.

I listen for messages of light, upliftment, inspiration.

My purpose is to establish calm for myself and to share my practices with those who also seek calm.

In a state of calm, it is possible to percieve the field of hapiness and to enter it.

We all have access to places of happiness when we establish a practice of listening within.

I experience calm by mindflness breathing, meditation drawing, meditation sewing, and journaling.

I move into my creative ecstasy naturally as I establish calm.

My infinite places of happiness are in practical and creative activities.

I find the connections and resources I need in order to fuel my work.

I receive encouragment through finding appropriate work spaces.

I love the way these connections appear.

As I create, I feel the presence of those who can most benefit from my work.

I move forward with a sense of appreciation and recogniton, as I recognize and appreciate those whom I serve.

I am grateful to have found ways to meet my needs and grateful for the opportunities to share these strategies.

As we all increase our individual happiness, we will see it overflow into the communirties around us.

As we share our inspiration and peace, it sets a standard which enriches the atmosphere around us.

We will see the creation of infinite places of happiness.
