Expressing our humanity expands ways we can be of service.
What are the things we know how to do?
How can we join with others to do things that express our values?
Providing dignity, recognition, and support so that everyone feels better expresses our humanity.
I have been reading about the far-reaching effects of micro credit in Bangladesh.
As a practice for meeting one need has been implemented, other needs are able to be addressed in effective ways.
Micro-credit is moving people out of poverty, educating their children, providing them with a self-directed way of sustaining themselves.
This is a wonderful expression of humanity which has spread all over the world.
Helping people take care of their needs gives them dignity which they can build on for themselves and their families.
Another project which expresses humanity is a project which pays debts for families in prison and then gives them a way to make a living using skills they learn on their release.
We all have a capacity for independence.
We all have a capacity for self-sustaining activity.
We all have a capacity for humanity.
