What Is New To You?

Learning to deal with new skills and technologies can be challenging.

I am gradually acquiring an experience base for many new things.

I have learned to be patient and forgiving of myself as a beginner.

I am learning to appreciate the facility I am developing with my new skills.

I am avoiding panic attacks and learning how to research the next steps and to find teachers and mentors.

It is a whole new sense of freedom to learn to negotiate technologies from the past as well as current developments.

By remaining calm, I am assured of finding out what I need to know.

It took over a year for me to find a new mentor for a particular skill from the past, but when I did, she was a perfect fit.

During that time, I learned to remain calm and to let go of my impatience and frustration.

I learned to stop reviewing the steps that led to the frustration and instead to listen for a way to receive new input.

In dealing with current technology, I am learning that I can get help every step of the way.

I am able to ask for the information I need in a calm way.

I am able to receive accurate answers to my more focused questions.

I am able to trust that I will receive the answers that I need.

I am moving from one step to the next with a gentle, patient and calm attitude toward myself.

I am able to enjoy all the new things which are coming to me, even though there are many challenges.

I appreciate the fact that I now have a way to deal with new things and can relax as I figure them out.
