Instead of supporting the old institutions with their limitations, more and more people are becoming aware of other ways to be involved in progress.
Long-term advocates for the earth, such as Bio-Engineers and the Pachamama Foundation are seeing their efforts be acknowledged more widely.
New projects, such as Ecosystem Restoration Camps are getting established.
People’s views about immigration, ecology, women’s rights, the privilege of race and economics are being challenged to expand, to be more inclusive.
Even as the old beliefs and practices are hanging on as tightly as possible, we are seeing a familiar historical pattern.
New ideas are changing and replacing old ones.
Step-by-step, moment-by-moment, the ideas which bless and enrich everyone are taking over.
It is a privilege to see this and to be part of it.
