Finding Your Own Footing

You will know when you find the path that fits you.

You will not be able to deviate for very long.

It will pull you back to itself.

You are meant to do some specific thing.

It is part of your individuality.

Once you feel it and the amazing fit it creates between your soul and your mind and your body, you will never want to leave it.

Bit by bit, the other things which occupy your life will drop off and you will find the unique satisfaction of following your own path.

Your footing will be secure.

You will always be guided to the next step.

You will only observe others, but not be drawn into their path, though it may seem very attractive.

You will trust your own.

Even if it seems that you are only taking tiny steps and others are taking great strides, trust yourself.

Take the tiny step that no one else can take for you.

Let the tiny steps lead you through your own life.

Be satisfied and grateful that you have found your own footing.

When you look back, you may be surprised at how far you have come.

Your path is incomparable to any other.

You are uniquely valuable where you are.

Knowledge to Proceed

I often need the reassurance of new knowledge in order to proceed on a project.

Sometimes I know where to find it and sometimes I don’t.

I have learned to listen within to be directed to the knowledge I need.

I receive the knowledge I need when my desire is consistent.

It may come quickly or over a long period of time.

I may need to grow in ways which prepare me to receive the knowledge.

My interest and desire provide an opening to receive it.

As my interest continues in a sincere manner, I am led to find the resources I need in order to receive the knowledge I desire.

The expansion I feel as I continue in my quest prepares me to receive it.

As I am prepared, my ability to convey my knowledge expands.

I find more applications for what I am willing to learn.

I find opportunities for sharing.

I find people who are interested in my knowledge.

I find appreciation for the way I express my knowledge.

My knowledge expands into a form for teaching and sharing widely.

I find suitable venues for sharing and teaching.

Forward progress is maintained as my sincere interest continues.

Others find my knowledge useful for them in their lives.

They are inspired within their own lives and live in an uplifting way.

The knowledge to proceed is magnified as it is expressed in so many new and different ways.

Resolving and Fulfilling

When we have experiences which leave us feeling uncompleted, it is necessary to take steps to resolve them.

I desired to learn a particular skill and I took a beginning class on it.

It was really fun, although it took me several steps to catch on, even while others in the class were proceeding.

Later on, I had the opportunity to buy the equipment I needed in order to practice my new skill.

I was not able to do get all the steps to come together even though I remembered most of them.

A group formed for people who were interested in getting together to do the skill.

A couple of people coached me at the monthly get-togethers and I began to catch on once again.

I took a private lesson with another teacher and learned some more.

At one meeting, when I was feeling uncertain and vulnerable, I was unable to get coaching.

My feeling of vulnerability grew and I dropped out of the group.

I still wanted to learn, and about a year later, I found the opportunity.

This was the right time with the right teacher.

I had a couple of hours to practice during the class and my hands caught the rhythm.

I was shown what to do when things broke down.

I was able to have an enjoyable conversation as I continued my practice, and to learn other related skills.

Since the class was given in a public setting, visitors dropped in and out while I practiced and my teacher interacted with the visitors.

I have such a different feeling now that I have achieved success.

I have resolved my frustration and irritation into a confident approach.

I am so grateful to have resolved my uncertainty and to have my desire to learn this skill fulfilled.

Project and Place

It is always exciting to start a new project.

It is necessary to define it and to find a place to put it together.

As the project is expressed and ideas are shared about it, it takes shape.

Its dimensions are calculated.

Resources are found.

Steps are taken to implement it.

The projects of our desire find their own harmonious way to be expressed.

They come to us because of our great love for them.

They naturally attract the best place for their expression.

The people most suited to support and guide the project are naturally attracted to it.

The skills necessary to support it appear.

It begins to assume dimension in real time and space.

It has a pleasing color and form.

It is appropriate and useful.

Every element necessary to bring it to completion appears.

Those who can benefit most are drawn to it.

From creativity to reception, the project is born and fulfilled.

Completion and Fulfillment

I have completed and fulfilled an important activity.

Everyone I know has completed and fulfilled and important activity.

Everyone I don’t even know, all over the world,  has completed and fulfilled an important activity.

————————

I am so grateful to have taken the steps to complete and fulfill an activity which is important to me.

While it was hanging over me, I felt frustrated and irritated that I did not have enough knowledge to finish it.

Although I had made several attempts over a few years, I was still left with the uncompleted experience.

Finally, an opportunity came up to complete the activity.

I was able to enroll and receive the knowledge and training which I desired.

This time, it was delivered in a way which made sense to me.

I was able to practice my new skill and to see promising results.

Having the knowledge I need in order to continue to improve is a wonderful feeling for me.

I no longer feel distressed over my unfulfilled desire.

I have the practical knowledge and experience to continue moving forward with my new skill.

I appreciate having access to the resource which resolved my experience.

I am looking forward to the happiness which this new activity gives me.

I appreciate knowing how to take the next step in my continuing development not only of this skill, but of where it leads as well.

Do All the Reassuring Things

When I am ready to take a new step forward, I need to do all the reassuring things I have learned.

I need more support at this time.

I need to remember how much I love me as I am.

I need to reinforce the steps that got me to this latest one.

I read a book of spiritual writings.

I meditate.

I draw.

I love me, love me, love me.

I take a tiny step on a project, and then on another one.

I prepare something healthy to eat.

I sit still and breathe, relaxation therapy.

I remember that I am living in congenial circumstances.

I remember that I have loyal friends.

I respect the steps I have taken already.

I look at how my garden is progressing.

I look at the body of work I have been accomplishing.

I remember where I was in the past.

I express gratitude for my progress.

I think about the next tiny step on work that I love.

When I am so full of happiness, I take the next step.

Transitioning Into Freedom

As I connect the threads one by one, implementing what I desire to do, I am building a freedom foundation for myself.

It is not easy, because I am following only what seems like a good idea, here and there, watching them all connect.

The outer result could be achieved easily by someone with an outline or guidebook.

I have to discover and implement each thread as it appears to me.

The overall feeling of what I am doing is clear to me.

I just keep taking the next steps as they come to me and fitting them in.

Even though I can see a broad outline, it is only step-by-step that I can fill it in.

Today, taking one very simple step, I filled in something I desired to do.

This has cleared the way for me to follow up with another step.

In addition, I was able to work on another space and clear it out.

I am prepping it for something else later.

I am grateful to be able to connect these tiny threads as I see them begin their weave into something beautiful.

It may look sporadic and erratic, spotty and chaotic, but as I respond to the feeling I have, it is filling out.

This is all a metaphor for my life.

I am clearing out what is no longer useful or productive for me and filling it in with what I desire.

Finding My Freedom

I am finding my freedom step-by-step.

Everyone I know is finding their freedom step-by-step.

Everyone I don’t even know, all over the planet, is finding their freedom step-by-step.

—————————

Today, I went out early and added a tomato cage to support a beginning grapevine.

Now, I will be able to plant a hyssop plant next to it to help deter insects.

While I was outside, I cleared the tall grasses from a raised bed which has two large herb plants in it.

I also brought cuttings from some young trees and bushes to break down in it as a hugelkulture bed.

Each of these steps is filling in my yard to become a tiny food forest.

This is a freedom I am literally cultivating, so I have a very local food source.

I am grateful to take these steps as I fill in the outline of my desire.

As a city person with no knowledge outside of what I have read, putting these steps into actual physical form is a challenge to me.

I am finding my freedom step-by-step as I try out the next idea.

So far, I have about twenty berry bushes and grapevines combined, and now, I am adding the herbs around them to deter insects.

I have asked the city to stop spraying my yard, and a few more birds have returned.

It is important to me to practice a more conscious life-style to reduce my carbon footprint and to steward the little part of the earth where I live.

This will also result in better health as I gain more freedom in cultivating perennial vegetables organically and plant fruit trees.

I am also discovering a style of planting that works for me, small raised beds with a variety of plants in them.

This way, they will all protect each other from insects which favor groups of the same plant.

I am building my freedom in two ways, by creating something I desire and by living in a healthier way.

Tremendous Opportunity

The tremendous opportunity reaching out in front of young people is unprecedented.

The glory of unified action through voting and social media has expanded beyond any previous generation.

Conscious stewardship of the earth, both within and without national borders, complements the power behind idealism.

The desire for universal good health and the ability to live with dignity is a vision of this new youth.

Striding together, youth leadership has articulated these values in a clear way.

It is an enormous privilege to watch this movement take place.

Practical and safe goals have led the way, taking away the greed of leadership in the previous generation.

Thank goodness the unbounded greed has overstepped its borders and is able to be routed.

Let this generation move forward with their energy and skill to build a world with dignity for everyone.

Cultivating Peace

Being in alignment with one’s goals and desires gives a person deep peace.

Working every day in the production of beauty and service helps cultivate peace.

When the mind is working from a conviction of deep peace there is tremendous harmony.

The body is flooded with happiness and grace.

Things appear when and where they are needed.

A calm working space in beautiful surroundings is the result.

Devoting oneself to service and beauty creates an atmosphere of effective productivity.

Product ideas flow without a sense of doubt or anxiety or pressure.

There is a natural flow from idea through design to production.

The whole business is infused with a dynamic of calm and success.

It is part of the natural order of things working from deep peace.

Beginning and throughout the day, there is an acknowledgment of the resource of deep peace.

At the end of the day, there is gratitude.

The calm flow from step to step holds all those involved in its beautiful peace.

Infinite ideas develop from this flow and are carried out in the best possible ways.

Without rush and without hurry, the completeness of the idea is reached in a timely manner.

This is the atmosphere within the person and within the organization where there is an expanded purpose cultivated by deep peace.
