No Longer Tribal

We may be approaching the point where we are no longer tribal.

So far, we have many overlapping tribes.

In addition to shared nationalities, we have professional, business and scientific tribes which overlap borders.

Shared values exist all over the world between women.

Charitable groups often cross national borders to express their care.

Good works in any country inspire good works everywhere.

As we move ourselves toward care for more people in our own country, and we see the care which is being expressed across borders, our tribal identity is expanded.

Soon, we will see ourselves as simply people, people who care for each other and people who care for the earth.
